1- Create a login name. It should be "Last Name""First Initial"BIM11. So mine looks like StoughABIM10. It may take a day or two for your login name to get approved by the Wiki admin.
2- On the Bim Wiki Home page in the top left corner under Actions, Click "New Page". This will allow you to create your own page that you will be able to link into the wiki later.
3- Give your wiki an appropriate name and click "Create".
4 - This next page will be similar to a word document. You can add pictures, text, headings, and so on. This will be your wiki page. If you have a pdf file already created, you can create a link here for it.
5- When you are satisfied with the wiki's content. Click "Save in the top right hand corner. This will finalize the creation of your page. You will be brough to a screen of your wiki. Check it for errors, and notice that you can also edit this page again here.
6- Now your finalized page must now be linked into the BIM WIKI. Find an appropriate page to create a link to your wiki. If you created Revit material, then go to the Revit page. To add your wiki, click "Edit Page".
7- Find the appropriate area to add your link. (Some may have to create thier own headings.) and click "Link"
8- Under "Link Text" write the name of the article as you want it to be seen. Under "Page Name" write the name of your BIM WIKI page from step 3. The text bar should recognize your text and you will be able to select your page. Clicking "Create" will finalize this link.
9- With the link now created, click "Save" to finalize the addition of the link.
10- Your BIM WIKI IS DONE!
11- Email me a link to your posted wiki, so I can be sure to give you credit for it.
12- Repeat for 2nd wiki.
